Summary: I always record a place I stay when I first walk in to note any prior damage to property and the cleanliness of the place. Only one shower could have been cleaned better. The rest of the place was clean. The jacuzzi tub did not work properly in my room. The hot tub kept stopping. We had to keep getting out to flip the breaker to reset it. Warning: There is one step going to two bedrooms that are upstairs that is a death trap. It almost blends in with the floor. I tripped and bruised my shoulder, knee and thought I broke my hand. Be very careful. There should be a sign there to watch out for it. Several others missed the step as well. We noticed a few broken seats in the theater room and some deep scratches in the floor and walls. Otherwise, I loved the cabin. Lots of space for the 16 of us that showed up. Very peaceful area with lots of tall trees. Loved the firepit. Loved that there was enough seating for all of us to eat together. The pool table was nice to have there. One of the video games doesn't work but the other one has a bunch of games to play. Kids hardly played it anyway. They spent most of the time in the pool. Didn't see any bears. Maybe next time. Communication from the hosts was pretty fast and thorough. No issues there. Even with the few flaws, we had a great time and plan to return next year. If you are like me and don't like to leave messes, bring a broom and dustpan. There were none in the cabin and I can't just leave the floors dirty. My choice I guess.
